After my dodgy back followed by very cold weather I have been pretty much cabined up for a few days.
My children are looking after most of my shopping but under my instructions to only ask if I need anything when they go shopping.
I awake anywhere between 6 and 8 am,always bright as a button and raring to go.
This morning I awoke a little after 6 determined to make a break for freedom.
After sorting the cats breakfast I donned a warm coathat,scarf and gloves picked up my backpack and headed to the small Tesco round the corner. They open at 6 and when I got there there were no other customers only 2 assistants. I picked up a few odds and ends and headed for the beach for a stroll on the sand. There was a nip in the air but boy I did enjoy getting out.
Back home and a breakfast of bacon and eggs buns and piping hot coffee put me in good fettle for the day
