After the normal rain and more rain weather yesterday we had a break. After almost 6inch of rain in three days on Tuesday evening the skies began to clear and with no cloud cover we had a frost warning for Wednesday morning.
As I am surrounded on 3 sides by the Irish sea I ignored this of course, With th sea filling salt marshes abot 50 yards away I thought no chance of frost here,WRONG!! I awoke yesterday to find the front street white from the roof tops to the ground and all inbetween.
I came downstairs sorted the cats and went out to fill the bird feeders (the water tray was frozen) and the wind that hit me though not strong was savage I was glad to get back indoors. As the morning went on the sun began to have some effect and after lunch I sat out for an hourThe grass was too wet of course so the path had to do,
Today is sunny again but the clouds have already starting to gather on the horizon and the outlook isn't good through the weekend. Time to break out some warmer clothing methinks
