Last week I got a flyer in the post urging me to get ready for Christmas early,since then the TV adverts have joined in and just for good measure Sony now have a channel named. Sony Movies Christmas,yep Christmas films non stop, I have hiddem that channel but no doubt more will join in.
Roll on January although by then Easter will no doubt have taken over the airwaves

2nd week of September, and today, I saw mince pies in the supermarket. Good grief. Having the Christmas 'stuff' earlier and earlier spoils it in my mind as by the time it comes around, I'm sick of it.

Yes they ruin the holiday! I love Christmas but prefer the final build up to be immediately following our Thanksgiving! Thats one month and enough to make you anticipate without getting sick of it all!

I have Sky and there was a channel for Christmas in July!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. We are going to be bombarded with Christmassy adverts/programmes etc in November and December, but in September is ridiculous. Have you started getting ready then?? LOL
