I had plans to clear the rubbish I had collected from the side of the house and start again today on the bif clean up but things change.
I spent yesterday nursing an injured cat. Sooty had got into another of his scrapes and it turns out had bruised his hips.
He was in a sorry state and I warned Ellen to be ready for a call to the vet.
It was late afternoon before I got himto take some food and water and that perked him up.
He steadily relaxed a little as the evening wore on then he took a long look at the starirs and decided he could make it which he did. I left him a lttle while then went to check on him,I found him snuggled up on the bottom shelf of my wardrobe,he much have felt save there.
He was still there when I went to bed fast asleep .In the early hours I was awkened but the feeling of a heavy weight across my legs.It was Sooty fast asleep again,I nodded off again only to be awakened again this time by a cats tongue rasping across my face as Sooty woke up up.
It was 5:40 too early even for me to get up,I wandered down stairs with Sooty fed and watered him and went back to bed.It only seemed a couple of minutes becore I awoke again this time on my terms By the time i came out of the shower and got dressed Sooty appeared and wanted petting which I did and got a purr in return
He has been happier as the day wore on,he really has amazing powers of recovery.
I managed to find my plants a home for now and clear the rubbish already collected so Hopefully I can start work again tomorrow

Glad to see that Sooty is okay. Hope he continues that way and that he won't need the vet any time soon. He obviously needed comfort and sounds like he knew just where to rest and recuperate.
