This morning I awoke to cloundy skies,there seemed to be a chance the sun would break through but it never did.
The morning was still warm around 24c so T shirt and shorts was the order of the day for my Saturday shop and a very pleasant shop it was.I bumped into two old friends in different spots and we exchanged news and I shared a coffee with the second. A very old friend I have known since we were 5 and starting school together. Happy days.
Back home it soon became clear it was no show for the sun today and by 7:30 the rain had started under ever darkening skies and by 745 I needed a light on to read.
Will whoever stole my sun please return it by tomorrow morning.

We've had total cloud cover today, as we did yesterday - well apart from a couple of hours. It's cooled down to 22C which is nice and I still can have the windows open.

Here we have brigt then clouds after sunrise until after lunch when it is just sun ad blue skies, a pattern we've had forsome time but on Monday, tomrrw we will get rain and hot weather.

We were forecast rain for the night, but like the thunderstorm warnings (twice) it was a no-show. We had a very sunny, hot day which was great for laundry but far too hot to do anything except stay indoors with the curtains closed. A very thundery, humid evening. Rain would have been welcome. It's a cloudy start for Sunday, maybe the rain was delayed.
You can have my sunshine, I'll take your rain lol.

It was very hot and humid today. Around 32. Then storms moved in with thunder and heavy rain. Tomorrow should be much nicer..
