Today we had wall to wall sunshine for most of the day and it was a balmy 14c very warm for these parts.
I ditched the winter coat and hiking boots and sonned a lighter jack and walking trainers.It was like being released from constraints . it was a very pleasant trip to see my mam and youngest sister
We are promised the same tomorrow so hopefully at long last I can make a start on the mini jungle that is the front garden

Glad to see you're getting some good weather at last. We had a light frost overnight, however the sunny days are well worth an overnight chill. I've had laundry out every day for 4 days now. Hopefully more sunshine to come.

Good to hear you are getting nicer weathwer Mickey. I saw on the TV news that the temperature generally was extremely warm for the time of year and that it had risen to over 20 C in Wales, the highest ever recorded in a winter month.

Over here I have fog and sea mist for the second day in a row.

Yes it was lovely and warm here too Mickey. I actually went out to the hospital today, and didn't even bother taking a coat or even a cardigan. A jumper was enough. I opened the car window too. Aha - spring is coming!!!
