THe mild wet weather has left and we are in a very cold airstream. The temps this morning 3c but with the wind chill factor feeling like -4c BRRRR
On my shopping trip to town I noticed the stores are all playing Christmas music and the shelves are full of Christmas greeting cards.
I noticed none of the music played had and mention of the nativity in fact no Carols at all and none of the cards I saw mentioned the nativity either
Have we finally reached a Christ free Christmas? looks that way to me

Goodness, that is cold. Very cold here too.
They were playing Christmas tunes in the supermarket this morning, mostly modern and thoroughly dreary IMO. Carols would be much nicer.

Here the songs are different - winter and Nikolaus and lot of snow - but also the nativity of the birthday of Jesus -

Here the canned music played in Supermarkets is a mixture of the well knownEnglish stuff such as'Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer' or similar Danish, nothing religious though

I saw Daddy Kissing Santa Clause is of course a true PC song. LOL

Well there's a lot to be thankful for not going out shopping by the sound of it. It wasn't as cold as that down this part of Britain. As for music, I think Slade must be reeling it in every Christmas.
