Today I managed to get the jungle first clearance finished. It was hard going and the work of the last few days has me tired and aching all over but a feeling of satisfaction outweighs all that.
I finished at 3:15 and the promised rain appeared at 3:30,a close call.
Now I have to wait for things to dry up before attacking it again. After that I can concentrate on the planters.
At the same time I have a stack of work to do on the house.
My elusive grandson Carl has promised to paint the bedroom window so that's a biggie off my mind.
I have to start with the damp proof paint on the back wall. This needs a fine calm day and a mask as the fumes are strong, the cats will scarper for a couple og hours as usual when the weather is good so no problem there.
My living room carpet needs a deep clean after the horroble weather we have endured and the kitchen needs a good sorting.
I have mildew in the bath room, just a litte but it needs fettling early.
Amongst all this I still have the garden to keep on top of,guess I'm in for a busy couple of months if this old body hangs in there long enough
