After a week of weather fit for walking in if not for a leisurely stroll today all changed.
With a wind chill warning of -12c it is not the day for outdoors,snuggly tucked up inside is the order of the day.
Large areas of the country have been hit by snow and in some places blizzards but here it has been clear. That was until last night when after talking to Jenny I went to but the Wheelie bin out for collection today
Snow was falling and it was bone chillingly cold.
By the time I went to bed the snow had stopped leaving a thin coating behind.
There was no more snow overnight and this morning the sun broke through for a couple of hours but it was not warm enough to melt the snow.
It was only around 2pm when it faded away,but we have a warning for more coming this afternoon and tonight.
