I carried on down the lane I showed yesterday and on the the shoreline where the channel splits in two. I joined where the west fork fills the gullies to form the salt water marsh and followed the headlead round until I faced east and the channel proper. Not much water to see as it was low tide just a lot of very dangerous gully and sinking sand areas
Still there was plenty of plant life around as well as the boats.
If you look at the photos you will see lots of grass but come at high tide and there is no grass visible and 30ft of water in the main channel.
I lovely little walk and never more than half a mile from home.
