A glorious morning today so I had choices. Cut the grass,or go for a walk, that was a no brainer so I set of for the fields on the way to the beach. This is the time of year when the gorse is blooming and smelling of vanilla and we still have blossom on the trees and bushes.
I crossed over the green and caught sight and smell of the gorse,Walking through the little path up towards the beach. The virds were maing plenty of noise but none settled long enough to get a snap. On bank above the beach there are no paths at all,my sort of place. Towards te shore there is a tarmac walkway and benches ideal for wheelchair users or parents with baby buggies.
I carried on to the golf course which was also covered in gorse bushes, not a place for a wayward golf shot the gorse thorns are long and needle sharp. I covered about three miles and realy enjoyed the pain free walk and with plenty of folk to pass the time of day with and dogs to pat it was a most enjoyable morning.
