Yesterday the work in the garden ground to a halt because of a rainy morning. A little sun and a drying wind dried things up and I was able to start again this morning.
I got the second mow on the rear top half and raked the grass up.
It looks pretty ropey like a stubbly newly mowed hay field but the green is already showing through. I raked the grass into a pile and went to get my long pronged fork to move it. when I came back it was scattered around and the cats were having great fun tumbling in it. Thanks kitties!
I was taking regular breaks and now it was lunch time so after an extended break and with no aches I decided to bite the bullet and start on the bottom section. I strimmed a 3ft path round the perimeter, tough going and time to pack up for the day.
I good days work and a little sunshine made it hard enjoyable work, more tomorrow hopefully,I might even get the bottom section strimmed and maybe the first mow on it.
Thanks for your encouragement
