Ellen came over today and brought a spray flea and tick remover.
We had two jobs to do spray the carpet and soft furniture in here and steam clean the kitchen floor.
Ellen opted for the kitchen floor but ended up completely doing the kitchen top to bottom. I had the easy part vacuuming and spraying the floor and soft furnishings. I needed all doors and windows open but the smell soon went.
Ellen did a good job she truly is a grand lass.

Yes fleas are a difficult pest once inside the house, worst of all is that they can lay dormant for many years.

Sounds like a good job all around. I moved into a house one time, that the owner was very dirty and they had a few cats. All the carpets had to be taken out, the floors scrubbed, before I'd let the removers bring in my furniture. Despite all that, I was still being bitten by cat fleas for months after they'd left and found neat bleach poured into all corners of the room finally did the trick. Not much help though if you have pets in the house as you can't do that in case they touch it.

Yes she really is - I keep asking for you to send her down here - I could do with her help to get the house straight. I must get some of that spray too, although there doesn't seem to be any here, it's best to be safe than sorry.
