This morning dawned sunny and bright. I sorted the cats out had some breakfast and headed off to see my mother>she was in fine fettle as usual and asked why I had my back back with me> I told her that when I left I was strolling into town for a little shopping which I did.B&M and Herons provided me with all my needs and I had a few yat=rds short of 8 miles in my legs.
I caught the bus home and as I stepped of it a young neighbour Paul told me that Bargain Booze were on the last day of a sale on beer.
Notone to miss a bargain I staggering into the house and dropped my 3 bags of shopping in the kitchen. I emptied everything with a little help from the cats, collected
My back pack and large carrier bag and headed for the booze shop. I bought 24 cans of Tetleys finess for £14 a good buy.
The old bones were creaking when I got home having got just over 9 mor miles in my old legs.
The sun still shines and apart from lunch I have spent the day outside talking to my next door neighbours and stopping a young fella building a 4X4 by making him a brew, a beer was out of the question as he was driving.
Tomorrow I will finish the front flower beds if my body and the weather hold together
