I awoke to snow this morning,not as much as some parts it is very wet and not sticking much at the moment. Ellen is off up the coast after work to spend a girlie weekend with Amanda an old pal. Travelling by train going north in this weather could be tricky,she will skirt the Lake District fells to Workington not too far from the Scottish border,I wish her luck.
Meanwhile I am cabined up with two cats,wet snow is not their idea of fun so they only go out to do their ablutions as it were then scurry back and lie under a radiator.
Hot simple meals are the order of the day today starting with a thick broth I have simmering for lunch Catch you soon
