I am back on an even keel after some changes to my medication.
After my blood pressure began bouncing all over the shop the quack changed a few things and hopefully tomorrow will be the last visit until the New Year. Things seem steady at the moment and I am checking my pressure thrice daily as instructed.
Yesterday was not one of my best. It was the 12th anniversary of Margaret's death so I celebrated our lives together as always, remembering the love and laughter she brought onto my life.
The morning saw me heading to town for my last Iceland shop before the break and that's when things started to go belly up. Just outside the school gates I slipped on some dog dirt and took a tumble arse over elbow.Three young ladies including Mags the lollipop lady came to my aid and fussed around. I was unhurt but had to return home to get changed and my coat in the wash. I finally did my shopping and wanted to pay by debit card unfortunately the machine refused and blocked my card, luckily I had enough cash on me to pay the bill but that meant I was now short of the readies for anything else. I returned home to ring the bank and found a message on my answer machine asking me to ring them. After a lot of messing and listening to Greensleeves that job was sorted and the card unblocked. So all in all I had an interesting day.
The card is not the only thing I have been locked out of,my old computer refuses to talk to me,probably sulking for being demoted to reserve. Until I can sweet talk it I cannot get to my docs which contains my address book. So if you don't get a Christmas card from me please forgive me and send me your address again.
I am now getting back into the swing of things on here and will be catching up as I find time over the next few days. I have my mother to visit yet before the break and my neighbours to deliver cards to as well as preparing for Ellen and Will coming for dinner on Christmas day. Have fun folks and take it easy,I am off to rest my back,it is very achy after yesterday's tumble.
Thanks also to those who sent me PMs and E mails

Glad to hear you're feeling more on top of things again.
Take it easy, take care and enjoy what you can when you can.
