The harbingers of winter have arrived on our shores. Every year around this time we get an influx of thousands of Starlings from Northern Europe who overwinter here. I heard them coming earlier but they are so fast that by the time I got to the window with my camera I was only in time to catch the tail end of the flock. Never mind they will be more in arrivals in the next few days I might be luckier then.
Fantasia has the first snow of the season over the pond and we have the Starlings and the wind has turned round to the northeast, sure signs to get the warm clothes out and the soup pans on. Wrap up people Jack Frost is coming.

My Squirrels are getting their winter coats so they're less red than normal, latest photos uploaded on Sunday.
I'm off to the Service workshop to collect my winter wheels and tyres, the wide low profile summer ones will go into storage until April.
Keep warm
John.
