The morning rain cleared leaving a sunny if windy afternoon so I wandered over town to get the pipe fodder I was stopped from getting yesterday by the weather. After picking up the fodder I went to B&M bargain hunting and picked a few choice items cheese, custard creams, coffee, white baps(6 for 55p)fat balls and nuts for the birds and other odds and ends. The bargain of the day was 4 large bottles of beer for £4:99 I like trying different beers and this pack had an English Bitter,A dark Stout,an English pale ale and an India
pale ale.
I should think one of these sipped slowly after dinner while reading will go down well. I am ready to start on Forest Gump by Winston Groom,I don't know the author and haven't seen the film but it seemed to be very popular so I will begin it tonight.
I left B&M called at the cheap freezer shop and flashed the pass back home. I'm going to bake a beef and onion pie for dinner and have it with onion gravy and garden peas so the bottle of stout should go well with that, there will even by some in the pie filling mix.
The photo posting issue has been sorted by the way, an apology was proffered and I accepted it was a mistake on the posters part.
