Things are nice and peaceful here at the moment,I managed to get a trim on the grass Ellen had cut for me before rain set in so the garden looks tidy.
Yesterday I had my first delivery of food via the on line shopping since the Iceland days. I have been thinking about it for a while with my continuing back problems and the bad weather not far away. I decided to use ASDA as Jenny gave it the thumbs up and Ellen used to get her shopping there because of her work commitments. The portions and prices are competitive if you are a canny shopper like me and being able to order in bulk is good. For instance I got a pack of 16 toilet tissues,I could never carry that amount home with my other shopping. B&M will still be the place to go for the special stuff the big boys don't sell. Time will tell how it works out.
The weather is greatly improved today with sunshine, the first time in a few days so lunch in the garden is on the cards I hope.

Yes when one has problems with carting the shopping back I guess online is a good thing if the store used is a good one. I have heard of Asda but know nothing more than what folk say as we go not have them here.
Should I need to have things delivered I just go to my normal Supermarket, select the things I need, pay and they bring them out at no extra charge.
Had a couple of wet days here, yesterday was the worst of the two so I had to amuse myself by watching a small group of nutty squirrels playing catch if catch can, in between the chasing they threw lots of cones down to eat the seeds from.
Stay safe.
John.
