After a big thunder storm and plenty of rain last night I had lost hope of starting on the front garden today. However the sun rose bright and early, this with a nice warm breeze dried the grass up beautifully.
After a few loosening exercises I attacked it with the strimmer because there was no chance of throwing the little Flymo in there. I managed the larger section in 3 sessions with breaks in between, some intended 3 caused by Bimbo,Janine and John and Pauline, and very welcome to stop me working they were. Then it was a quick trim with the mower followed by another break before I repeated the process on the smaller section, with the tools cleaned and stowed I swept the paths and that was me finished. I took my lounger out into the back garden grabbed my briar and a Guinness and collapsed into the chair with a sigh of relief. We have rain due for the next three days so I had it done just in time. The back isn't too bad because Ellen managed to cut the grass before her shoulder packed in so although there is a lot of strimming to do it can wait. As a precaution I am now going to climb into my massage chair for a while, back later

Pity about the wet outlook though.
Keep well.
