What a race.............

I don't know if anyone out there watches Formula One racing, but today was the Canadian Grand Prix and it was one of the best races I've seen for a long, long time. Crashes, brake failures and the first win for a driver. If you like excitement, and heart stopping moments, then you've missed a wonderful race.

Good on you Ricciardo for winning your first race after only a couple of years in Formula One, but it was a shame that his first win was overshadowed by the incredible crash just before the end of the last lap.

Sorry folks, just had to write this as I have been really excited about this race. It was great having Mandi here to roar with excitment with me. John is probably shouting too. LOL

Oh, I don't shout etc, when watching no matter whether the door is open or closed, if I did my neighbors would probably phone for the "Nice young men in their Clean white suits"

Uggh! Spoiler alert! lol! Rick watches the F-1 and has since he was a VERY young man.. Used to be the American f-1 was in Watkins Glen which is upstate NY back in the 70's. He used to drive up there every year with friends... From what he tells me it was a bit crazy and not at all something I'd have liked. A full weekend of drinking and assorted nonsense. Example is the girls would at the bequest of the males yelling "Show me your t**s", show them for a beer! The bathrooms got trashed and they'd get old car junkers and burn them in the swamp area! The year they stole a bus and burned it created a bit of a problem.. I may have to sit with him and watch the race if it's that good. He tapes it and watches while I'm at work usually.

Oh it was a really good race Gracie, only 10 finished - so that will give you a good idea of the race. LOL

As for the weekend Rick had with the drinking etc. - not my kind of time neither. So you should therefore have a weekend with your girls as a response. Rick wouldn't enjoy face packs or watching male ''totty'' walking around, LOL

Oh this was before me.. Last one that he went to was the year or 2 before we started dating.. Oh no, he would NOT be going to that sort of mish mash now!!
