This is the amazing honeysuckle that is growing on the rowan tree next door. As you can imagine, the scent is wonderfully strong, especially in the evenings. It's just outside my kitchen door and for a couple of evenings I've had the back door open and it's been glorious.

I mean against the blue sky it looks amazing and I'm so pleased that I took these photos when I did, because since then it's been raining. I mean - it's almost the end of May and the temperatures are still in the early 60'sF or around 16C!!! It's COLD!!!!

I'd like to know when I can stop wearing my thermal vests and start wearing sleeveless tops and dresses. This is beyond a joke - I mean what has the weather gods got against us here in the south west????

Okay I feel I've probably bamboozled you with enough flower photos to last a lifetime. I hope that maybe this coming week, the clouds will go away and I can get down to the beach.
