Hiya folks, just got back from my daughter's home. I went to visit her yesterday for a bit of a knees-up. Her friends had arranged a hen-night for her, as they had been told that she will be getting married when she goes out to Turkey next week.

Yes - you heard right - married!!!!!!!!!! The difference in her for the last four months has brought back my old Mandi. She is giggling, smiling, laughing and looking forward to the future, something I never thought I would ever see again. Her ex-husband had done a real number on her and she had said she would never trust another man, let alone go out with one. Now here she is happy, excited and totally and utterly in love.

They may not have known each other a long time, but he has brought my daughter back and therefore he is my hero. He spoke to me last night and asked me if I was okay with them getting married and I gave him my approval and best wishes and now he is a happy bunny!!!!!

She had got her wedding dress, accessories which I have helped her choose because unfortunately I can't be there for the actual ceremony. I am sad I can't be there, but she's going to leave her phone on during the wedding do, so I can here what's going on.!!!! Technology is brilliant isn't it? Still when they come back to England, they will have the blessing and a big party for everyone to attend.

So that's why I wasn't here yesterday.

This is Ann - she shares the office with Mandi at work and she was the organiser of this party. Some of the games was arranged by her too - but as I've said, that's for another blog with a video I did!!!!...........

Mother and daughter. I was definitely out of my comfort zone and this was after two double gin and tonics!!!!!!!

I am so proud of her and I wish her all the best and every happiness for her and Dohan, his full name is Erdogan - but the g is silent, so it's easier to write as Dohan.
