I haven't had a lot of time to do this justice I'm afraid, so I've just grabbed a few I have.................
This is the Ribat - an ancient fortress where they used to look out towards the sea for invaders in Monastir, Tunisia which is almost 2,000 years old. It's in incredible condition - must be the dry air. The film "Life of Brian" was filmed here...................
Of course the Parthenon in Athens is pretty ancient. I was so lucky to have been here, it's a magical place and you certainly feel the atmosphere...That's me in the white dress in front of the building!!...........
This is one of the many amphitheatres in Greece, this one happens to be just below the Parthenon, Even though it's in ruins, it still holds some plays and concerts there....................
These are ruins in Crete - it was a manor house apparently.....................
Apparently this was a small village which has managed to have most of the layout preserved....................
Finally of course, how could I not include Stonehenge. It's incredible being near it. It's always looked so big, that is until you get close to it and it's much smaller than I expected. It was apparently built around 3,000BC which makes it pretty ancient................
Been to a hen night, that's why I wasn't here yesterday..............
