Today wasn't a very nice day to start with - cold temperatures [around 13C - 56F] which isn't good for this time of the year. They do say that this year has been the coldest and wettest for many years. They are also talking about a bad winter on the way - great...................
Anyway later on the sun decided to show its face and I opened the lounge window and saw the Japanese anemone was really growing very well...........
They've produced some lovely flowers which are quite beautiful to look out on.......
So now I'll keep the plants where they are because I do enjoy the large clumps of flowers together........
Then I turned around and saw the new calendiva plants in their new place..
I think they are going to enjoy their new places in the window - and the pink one is definitely a stronger plant.............
whereas the red one is the next one........
and the white one seems to be flagging somewhat - still with a bit of luck it'll rally round later on........
So that's roughly what I've been doing today - just chillin' as they say. We are expecting better weather later on this week, so I'll pop out then. I'll remember to take my cardigan though - chilly wind.
Right I'm off to Monza - what I mean is I'm going to watch the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix which is at Monza. Today is the qualifying race and the main race is tomorrow. I do love this sport, along with the motorbikes. Oh well - speak later..........
I've cut the grass ......

Yes your weather was not exactly an Indian Summer, a thing we sometimes used to get in September.
Mine began with sunshine but only 12.5 C, judging by the antics of Misses Red the crazy Squirrel she knew what was about to happen, the wind got up and the sky opened all sluices at once, it stopped for a few minutes allowing me to take a few photos then down came more rain.
See you in Monza tomorrow.
