They're very pretty, and someone a few streets over has one though I find their scent a little too heady. Glad you're enjoying it though.

Yes you are lucky.. I should see if honeysuckle would grow by me.. I don't think it's warm enough in my zone.. But I do have oriental lilies that open in July.. They smell so gorgeous! It's a shame they only bloom a week or two.. They are lovely and just so rich with perfume!

I find that the white oriental lily smells so pungent - I just love it. You shouldn't have any problem growing honeysuckle Gracie - it grows wild over here so it doesn't matter about temperatures, so give it a try - it does like to climb though, so you'd better make sure it has a trellis or a tree or something like that. I think they prefer trees, it's more natural.

I may try a honeysuckle bush. That would work better than the vine for me. Its a late summer early fall plant in my zone per the garden site I read.

Oh that would be good for you Gracie - it grows nearly anywhere and it's so pretty with its flowers and the smell is divine
