Tuesday ...

Interesting Norm. As it happens I too have been thinking of maybe trying out my local camera club, encouraged by how much I feel I've got from being part of TSC over the last few months.

Probably be sometime next year though knowing me before I get around to it, which is saying something as I can see the venue they hold it in from our house! ;)

I know what you mean ... here lately I've had trouble finding time to go take photos and yet I plan to attend a club and talk about it for a couple of hours! :-) I've been thinking about this for about two years now! We'll see how it goes.

I should have went last Tuesday, but I forgot about it until it was too late. We had our first batch of cold weather this week and I was busy getting the house ready for it. They have another meeting on the 25th and I plan to try and make it.

whatthehell is "back button focusing? If we had a camera club here that I could go to for free... I would be in like flin... we have one camera club here (that I know of) and the guy that is the "head cheese" is such a dork, loud, obnoxious, and just a creep... no thanks to that club

Back button focusing is reprogramming the buttons so that the an auto focus button is moved to the back of the camera and away from the shutter button. It spits up the auto exposure function from the auto focus function and give you more flexibility and control.

Sounds like you need to set up your own club! :-)

I am gonna have to check that out... is it worth it?
