1) With respect to all comments concerning the scheduled frontpage redesign we present you a revised edition today. We tried to follow the majorities as well as we tried to respect the minorities. You'll find the release below. Furthermore we've created a group for the pictures, which you are invited to submit for the new frontpage.

2) Even if several users prefer a dark background for photo applications, the majority doesn't. Therefore we decided to pursue the paperwhite version.
