    In the late 1960s Dick Wagner was rejected from joining Blood, Sweat and Tears so he became the front man for a Michigan group called The Frost. During that time he wrote a tune that he said had "horrible lyrics". When he worked with Alice Cooper he presented the tune and together they reworked the words. The result was "Only Women Bleed".
