The 1972 LP "Cymbal And Clinger" included the track "Rock Me Baby" (Johnny Cymbal - Peggy Clinger) by Johnny Cymbal and Peggy Clinger who also wrote "Mary In The Morning". Johnny Cymbal is well represented on this site while Peggy Clinger of The Clinger Sisters was noted for television appearances with Andy Williams, Lawrence Welk and Danny Kaye. Both Johnny and Peggy are no longer with us.

Once a member of television's Partridge Family, David Cassidy hit with "Rock Me Baby" from the album of the same name featuring members of The Wrecking Crew. The single hit the Billboard top forty while doing much better elsewhere including the U.K. where it peaked at number eleven.
