The Fleetwoods (Gary Troxel, Gretchen Christopher and Barbara Ellis) recorded "Before And After (Losing You)" (McCoy) in January of 1965 as a single and eventually the title track to their album.

Chad (Stuart) and Jeremy (Clyde) with "Before And After" (Van McCoy) from the LP of the same name was released as the duo's first single for Columbia Records in 1965. The U.K. label incorrectly gave writing credit to C. Stuart - J. Clyde. The single peaked at number seventeen on the Top One Hundred and was their last top twenty success.
