TO BE EDITED ...
These images are mainly a record of the wide ranging projects carried out by Stanegate Restorations and Replicas, of Haltwhistle.
We undertake contracts involving the conservation, repair and restoration of Heritage items - large and small - in addition, we have constructed full scale replicas.
Our larger projects have included horse-drawn and railway vehicles - of several gauges, as well as boat repairs and refits - including a 1909 pulling lifeboat.
We also take on smaller commissions, such as specialist wood machining to support volunteer projects, interactive scale models (for museums) and replica furniture.
All our projects are carried out with the same high level of craftmanship and attention to detail.
Project albums are arranged into folders either by clients or by filed of work. These cover the wide range of projects carried out in the period from October 2006 to the present time.
As we are expecting to be starting some new projects in the very near future, I will add albums for them as soon as I have the images..... certain projects are paused whilst the funds are raised.
There are other folders for albums with additional images - many of which are only loosely connected with Stanegate Restorations. (I had been playing "catch-up" with up-loading the non-work images during November and December 2011).

TO BE EDITED FURTHER ... A little history as to how I came here.
As a result of the sudden, and at that time unexplained, disappearance of fotopic on the 9th March 2011, a small selection from the 800+ images – from two galleries – were uploaded onto Flickr.
On fotopic, in a period of just over two years we had posted 800+ images, in 35 collections in two galleries, which had generated well over 60,000 individual hits on these images.
Uploading continues, but compiling the details such as descriptions / captions / tags is a rather slower process - apologies! I am steadily correcting the odd typos, as I find them. Thankfully, in the last few days I have been able to find and add some more of the missing images....now done about 700. I think that I have now found almost all the 'old' images.
As a photostream displays in the order of uploading, and I am adding images as I locate them, the image chronolgical order does not match......please note that some of the EXIF dates are very wrong, even some from the camera with the currently right date! This is being attended to as I have the chance !.
Thanks for all the views.......

On 18th April 2013, total views just on photographs passed the 125,000 total. Probably someone looking at a recently completed project as I just posted some images of it leaving the works enroute to a "new" home.
