About Roger Bennion club

Roger Bennion
From: Aylesbury
Very, very many moons ago I was totally into 35mm film photography. And, I was Treasurer of the Aylesbury Police Camera Club. Not that I was a policeman :-) Fortunately the Club was open to 'peoples' in other employments. I was encouraged to join the APCC by Pam, one of my Local Government colleagues. APCC eventually became Stoke Mandeville Hospital Camera Club. When SMHCC folded I pretty much lost interest in photography. However, back in about 2003 I realised that digital photography was for me. I was a member of Lautrec Camera Club until May 2015.
In 2010 I joined Flickr and thought it was the 'best thing since sliced bread'. Then in 2013 Flickr started to make major changes. The more changes they made the more disenchanted I became. In 2013 I realised that ipernity was the perfect place where I could share my photos. I kept my Flickr account going so as not to lose my Flickr contacts. But, in May 2015 I decided I could no longer struggle with such a confusing system and I finally deleted my Flickr account. This has allowed me to fully concentrate on my ipernity account :-)
