Anchor card. "Dearest Mother, Just a few Cards for you to wish you many Happy returns of your Birthday. Will write letter later. Believe me to remain Dear Mother yours, Lizzie. Lovely sunny day today."

Addressed to Miss Hattie Sears of Sutton, Quebec and posted March 27, 1912: "How are you these days. I suppose you have not changed your mode of life yet. I have + gone to catching but have plenty to eat have been staying alone in a little shack for a week but expect more men Monday. I am running a traction engine in the woods we have not any snow here now + quite warm but ??? lonesome am going to Portage city in about 3 weeks to work for $75.00 a month for the summer + $2.50 a day for the rest of the year. Postmark is Kawende, which was an early name for the village of Oakville.

Message in Danish. Addressed to Copenhagen and postmarked December 11, 1907 at Prince Albert. Pearson-Ullberg Co., Minneapolis was the publisher, with M'Afee Bros. Postcards, Minneapolis named on the front as well.

On the boat now crossing over to Victoria enjoying the sail first rate kind regards to all how is your mother and the boys be good all of you. Willie" Postmarked at Victoria, B.C., June 1, 1910. There is a second copy of this that was posted July 11, 1909 at Mission City to Mrs. Jos. Grasser, 2630 Broadway, Toledo, Ohio: "July 11-09 am laying over here for the night. Passed through beautiful scenery today. Love to all."
