At last - the final card in the Warwick Bros. & Rutter / Jones & Harrison / GWF Happyland series is mine! No. 4553. Posted May 30, 1907 at Winnipeg to Mrs J. F. Langlois, cor. John + Murray Sts., Hamilton, Ont.

This is a common image but I don't think I previously had it as part of the "Beautiful Manitoba Series" of Russell, Lang & Co. Postmarked (split-ring) at Reaburn, Manitoba on -- 16, 1907 to Mr. + Mrs. Earl, Conservative Club, Victoria Road, Stanford le Hope, Essex, England. Undivided back "Private Post Card"

This card is copyright 1910 by the Gerlach-Barklow Co. of Joliet, Illinois and has been customized for McNeil, McLean & Garland, "Head to Toe Outfitters" located in the Commonwealth Block near City Hall. The card was posted at Winnipeg in 1912 (the date indicia are missing to Frank Harris Esq., 163 Cathedral Ave., City, readdressed to c/o John Clemens Coy, 86 Wardlow. There is an inkstamp on the back: "Eleventh Issue of a Series of 12".

Warwick Bros. & Rutter card no. 432 1/2 -- an odd numbering that I will have to ask Mike Smith to explain. Addressed to Miss Ruby Nighswander, Powassan, Ont.: "Dear Cousin:- Saw Lloyd to-day train stayed 20 mins. Quite well and hopeful. Dryden." Partial postmark, date is August 28, 1904.

Atkinson Bros. undivided back. Posted July 1, 1906 at Brandon to Miss Minnie Stewart, Thompson Station, Cumberland Co., N.S., with a Thompson Station split-ring receiver. "Going west July 9 will write when I get there. L.G.O."

Postmarked at Belmont, Man., Aprl 21, 1913 to Mrs Lewis Grant, Byng P.O., Ont. (Haldimand County), both with split-ring cancellations. "April 20th Dear Mother, I am getting better of my cold. How have you been since I left only had a card. I sent you a packeg [sic] those pieces are very scarce have a pin made of them write as soon as you can and send the cronicle [sic] L.F. G. care of W. J. Barber, Brandon." No publisher indicated.

Posted at Hamiota, Man., May 4, 1907 to Miss Anna McKay, Egmondville, Ont. (split ring receiver). "Dear friend. Just a card to let you know we are all well and like our new home very much. The roads are grand + it is getting quite springlike. Am in town to-day + thought I would drop you a card. Kindly give my best wishes to the rest and I will write more fully after I get more to tell you. Your loving friend. Flora Mc, Hamiota." C.S. Co. no. 18
