"Dear Mother, Will reach Winnipeg about five + will be glad. It hard on the train so long. Passed lake Superior this morn. It is all frozen up at Port Arthur + Fort William both. Just went through a great long tunnel, all dark. Will write soon. Isobel + Ross."
Note the "Islands for Sale" sign on the side of the building.
