Valentine & Sons no. 109,515: "My Dearest Little Sister, What do you think of this for a fine district. Isn't it a dandy [triple underlined] spot. This City is certainly a dandy [triple underlined] place, especially during the summer from April to Nov 1st. Your Little Boy, Sidney xxxxxxxxxx" Same Sidney, with very dramatic (and hard to read) handwriting, that wrote the "Main Street Subway" message.

Bloom Bros., Winnipeg, no. 24 in the Maple Leaf For Ever series, marked "C T Photochrom" and numbered R-36566 (presumably a Curt Teich numbering). "Aug. 12th/13 Dearest Little Sweetheart Minx, This subway was about completed when I came here first in 1905, It's a busy subway ??? cars pass through same every minute. Your Little Boy, Sidney xxxxxxxx"

H. Enida Olive Co. of Calgary, series no. 128, unused. (I don't actually consider this "incredibly boring" but if you don't realize how immense a city was shortly to stand in this spot, its significance might not be apparent.)
