Can it be?? Has spring sprung? ... we rolled over 19 ˚C ( 66 ˚F) today... and a wander round the grounds found some cheery colour - the croci are in bloom!

Playing with the laser light before all the final Christmas lights come down... tonight's fog and drizzle made the beams illuminate beautifully... Shot on Aperture Mode, using the shrub branches to break up the focal point of the beam...

We've had two nights and the intervening day of fog... at times so thick you could not see the house next door. Decided to go down to the river and explore the river lights in the fog... Tripod and a timed setting, of course ;-) This is a panorama of 4 shots: each timed 2.5 seconds

The temps fluctuated between rain and snow... so ice coated trees.
