I'm trying to finish this edition of screenprinted artist books which I began making last year in Argentina. It's a small edition of drum leaf bindings printed on brown recyled paper & white fine art cardstock.

the book itself is a simple variation of a coptic binding, it has a soft cover with yapp edge. The book can be lifted from the box using this linen tape.

The 1mm chipboard pieces will be covered with black paper. I'm yet to make and fit the lid, which will be "fun". I'm not very good at boxmaking, but I can see the possibilities when one learns it well.

Illustrated accordion binding made for the "Kätköistä Löytyneet" miniature book exhibition in Helsinki, Finland. Boards covered with chocolate brown goatskin, closure mechanism made of raku button around which waxed linen thread can be wrapped.
