Der große Schauspieler Gert Fröbe (1912–1988) gehörte zu den prominentesten Einwohnern Ickings. Seine internationale Laufbahn legte ihn auf Schurkenrollen fest, aber in Deutschland zeigte er das ganze Spektrum seines Könnens. Bis zuletzt trat er auf mit seinen berühmten Morgenstern-Rezitationen. The famous actor Gert Fröbe (1912–1988) was one of the most prominent citizens of Icking. In Hollywood, he was just an outstanding villain (Goldfinger!), but in Germany he showed his unique talents in playing a much wider range of parts.
