When you get on the train at Icking, it’s probably not a very good idea to leave your bike at the station.

The Icking railway station. In the weekends, young people from all over the region come here to destroy things. That’s bad, but I can’t really blame them.

When I think about dull places, it’s always the Icking railway station which first comes to mind. There used to be a real station, with a waiting room, a ticket window, toilets. Recently, the last remains of the old station made place for parking spaces, and the platforms were refurbished. When I happen to be in a cheerful mood, I come here, and have myself depressed.

As every serious photographer knows, it’s always hard to capture the decisive moment, and I’m proud to have managed. (Viewers who care about Exif data may be puzzled a bit. True, the hands of this clock NEVER move.)
