It is rather strange to see someone climbing over a fence. It is even stranger to see him preparing for that feat by taking a photograph.

Robbie in Neuburg/Donau. He used to live here before we got him, which was the main reason for us not to visit that town. If we do, dogs must have their traumas too, we thought. After more than seven years, the time was ripe to break the spell. We observed him closely: Would he recognize anything? Sometimes, it seemed he did, and sometimes not... Anyway, we’re fairly certain that he doesn’t need therapy.

Last Friday, the day before our return to Germany. It was cold, wet, and windy. I wonder why so few people wanted to join us on our walk along the seaside. Here you can see only half of the sand; the rest came out of our shoes back home.
