I've always wanted to try this. You get a bucket of water. Put it outside to freeze overnight. The sides and top freeze, and the inside will freeze last. You tip it out, break the thin ice and empty out the water. Voila! Ice lantern to put a candle in. You can add leaves, petals, anything pretty,

We made this one first - Mona added some slices of strawberries and lime to pretty it up - but it didn't quite work out - not enough of a hole for the candle
