I had just lit up a ciggie on the platform while waiting for the train to Namur, because you're allowed to do that here. This railway bloke walked up immediately and I thought "okay, maybe not allowed" but he just wanted a light for his rollie. Marie asked if I could have a photo. Pas de problème

La Maison du Baillii in Gembloux. (Marie and I both guessed it was either a castle or an abbey). "This building sandstone and limestone rubble was rebuilt in the late sixteenth century. partly on two cellars dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. one of which is vaulted with ridges and the other in cradle." and "The ground floor of the building has long housed the communal council hall and the Mayor's office. Both floors house the Museum of Cutlery and Local Life."
