I haven't been able to look at anything Dutch, anything that took me into my past with Ad. In Belgium there are several Dutch chain stores (eg Kruidvat, Zeeman, Hema) and I have barely been able to look at the storefronts. In Namur I went into Zeeman to buy some socks and knitting wool, then decided to go into Hema as well. I used to shop there a lot in Holland. I kept checking in with myself to see how it was going emotionally, and found that I felt quite comfortable about it. I even got a shopping bag. It's the first firm evidence for myself that I am able to reconnect with memories of my past with Ad, without it being traumatic
