The Bungle Bungle Ranges...Purnululu National Park. Far north Western Australia. These are some of the oldest rock formations on earth. It is a World Heritage listed Site in a very remote area.
The beehive-shaped domes are Devonian calcareous sandstone, with regularly alternating, dark gray bands of cynobacterial crust.

In the Purnululu National Park in far north Western Australia. These ancient eroded landforms spread across a huge area and are classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. They are very remote.
