There are hundreds of vineyards up in the hills here. Some have their own winery, mainly small, hand made batches. Others grow for the larger producers, like Penfolds or Bird in Hand, and sell their crops to these bigger, exporting producers. It tends to be more boutique type production in the Hills here, and then the Hills run into the Barossa Valley, where the bold reds.E.g. ..Shiraz are standouts.
