Tawny frogmouth..(..podargus strigoides)....,native to and common throughout Australia. Related to the nightjars rather than owls. It was sleeping above our tent....till I rudely woke it up for photos!

Wild 6 metre salt water crocodile- dominant male- beside the water lilies. Kakadu World Heritage Biosphere. Northern Australia. These animals do attack and eat people....... I was on a boat. As a matter of interest, they smell pretty awful! No crop....
