Today Mysore no longer has its streets like this, half full of cow drawn carts, but is a maddening noise of dense polluting motor vehicles. On voit souvent les vaches aux rues qui mangent du carton, du plastique et du papier. They are very hungry as there is no grass or other food for them, so they become scavengers and theives, or people feed them chapattis to bring themselves good religious merit.
