Flinders Ranges. South Australia. On black please. A favourite camping spot. Ce sont des roches très anciennes de la naissance de la planète. Ce lieu était autrefois sous les mers. Il est maintenant 800 km de l'océan. Ce sont les roches sédimentaires qui ont été levées, déplacés, poussés par des forces tectoniques, et sont désormais inerte-metamorphosees. Elles contiennent des fossiles très anciens de la premiere vie maritime. Les géologues viennent de partout dans le monde pour étudier ces roches. Même David Attenborough a visité souvent et a filmé ici pour ses séries de la nature pour le BBC.
